The Nehru Memorial Higher Secondary School, Kaithakuzhy , Adichnalloor Panchayath, Velichikkala.P.O, was started in June 1965. It is situated in a place with a healthy, calm and quiet atmosphere. It is a recognised unaided co-educational institution. The medium of instruction is English. This is a character building institution concentrating on moulding the personality of pupils, spreading the high ideals such as democratic and scientific way of life with emphasis on Indian culture and mode of life. The main aim of the institution is to train up pupils to be worthy and responsible citizens and serve the fellowmen in godliness.

This institution is under the management of the Kaithakuzhy Educational Association, Registration Number: Q/18/1965, registered and functioning as a charitable society under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955.
