Note for all users of the old Pro app
If you have downloaded the old Topo tile archives and want to keep on using them as offline maps here's a little tweak that allows you to do that. Please keep in mind that they are no longer updated and not as good looking as the new LINZ topo maps.

• Download Sqlite3 from here: https://www.sqlite.org/download.html
• for each .mbtiles archive
+ Open Sqlite3: sqlite3.exe
+ open the tile archive: .open NI_10.mbtiles
+ update the tile archive: update metadata set value='LdsTopo' where name='tilesource';
+ close the archive: .quit

COARSE (NETWORK-BASED) LOCATION
FINE (GPS) LOCATION
These are used to obtain your position on the map as well as the nearest facilities around you.

FULL INTERNET ACCESS
The app retrieves maps, photos and availability information for bookable facilities off the internet.
In case of the app crashing you are asked whether you want to send further information back to the developers.

VIEW NETWORK STATE
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
This is required to check whether the device is connected or not before any internet access.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used to store map tiles for offline map usage
