Welcome to Norfolk Fair Trade Company! At NFTCO, we believe in the power of using marketplace principles to help solve social challenges. Located in downtown Norfolk, VA in the historic Monticello Arcade, we offer a selection of unique products from local makers and global craftspeople. We seek to sell items that ensure a living wage and healthy working conditions for the people who make them. We invite you to come in and learn about these entrepreneurs and how their lives changed when they started their business.
NFTCO’s social purpose is to help others learn about becoming an entrepreneur. We offer apprenticeship programs for those interested in starting benefit corporations. In addition, we collaborate with other entrepreneurial programs in the area, such as Launch Hampton Roads, by offering complementary, action-learning sessions–all in a live business setting. We publicly report on our progress and social giving so you can see how and when Norfolk Fair Trade Company makes an impact in our community.
