The Florida State University Athletics Department is committed to promoting and supporting displays of good sportsmanship in all Athletics contests. All athletics department staff, coaches, student- athletes, and fans are expected to honor and uphold the following components of good sportsmanship: ethical conduct, fair play, respect, and integrity.

FSU Athletics expects all fans, student-athletes, coaches, and staff to create a positive atmosphere where the focus is on healthy competition between Florida State University student-athletes and their opponents. Florida State Athletics will also hold all institutions participating in Athletics events responsible for the conduct and behavior of their players, coaches, faculty, staff, and spectators.
