About Normal Map Camera Android App
Normal Map Camera is an app that allows the user to create normal maps at home using little more than a phone camera and a torch. Garden vines, cobbles and rocks are all examples of textures that are commonly required in games and can easily be captured using the Normal Map Camera. First, the app directs the user to take a diffuse image. The user is then directed to take four subsequent images lit from each side that are then used in generating the normal map. Finally, the app provides an interactive preview screen where the user can view how the texture looks under different lighting conditions.
