Fundada em junho de 1946 e desde então no ar de forma ininterrupta, a Nova Friburgo AM foi a primeira emissora AM da região serrana e centro-norte fluminense. A emissora nasceu em pleno “anos dourados” do rádio brasileiro e hoje é a única emissora AM de toda a região e considerada uma das maiores do estado.


Conhecida como “A Emissora das Montanhas”, a Nova Friburgo AM faz-se ouvir em toda região serrana, centro-norte, região dos lagos e grande parte da baixada do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Sua programação diversificada atinge todas as camadas sociais, consolidando-se como a líder absoluta de audiência.


Atualmente a rádio alia tradição e modernidade tornando-se uma referência em informação, credibilidade e entretenimento.Founded in June 1946 and since then the air continuously, Nova Friburgo AM was the first AM station of the mountain and north-central region of Rio de Janeiro. The station was born in the middle "golden years" of the Brazilian radio and today is the only AM station across the region and considered one of the state's largest.
 

Known as "The Issuer of the Mountains", the Nova Friburgo AM is heard throughout the mountain region, north-central, Lakes region and much of the lowland of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Its diverse programming reaches all levels of society, consolidating its position as the undisputed leader of audience.
