NumSum is a game that enhances mental alertness, basic logic, and calculation speed while sharpening visual perception and mathematical planning. It is highly recommended for mathematical development of both children and adults. NumSum is also beneficial to seniors due to the fact that it activates areas of the brain rarely used after a certain age.
Use the power of the Sum to move through different screens, trying to outdo your friends in 5 different worlds (the Decimal, Roman Numeral, Cards, Dice and Hexadecimal Worlds)... Enjoy this challenge which trains your mind.
Suitable for anyone who can add ...Do you dare?
Instructions:
You have 100 seconds for each game. When the clock reaches zero, the game ends.
Each panel has a set of 25 tiles (5x5) which you must remove by selecting groups of 2, 3, 4 or 5 tiles that together add up to any of the target numbers (targets) which appears at the top to the left of the Score. The score for each set of tiles is as follows:
2 tiles = 50 points
3 = 100 points
4 = 150 points
5 = 200 points
If the sum is not correct, the tiles will not disappear and you should disable those you think necessary to achieve the desired result. Remember that time is running out!
When less than 8 tiles remain on the screen, the 'Pass' button lights up. When clicked, the next level will appear and 25 seconds will be added to your clock. When you manage to remove all of a panel's tiles ('Perfect'), you get 50 seconds added to your clock, and the score multiplier (located under the 'Pass' button) goes up to the next level (x1-x2-x3-x4-x5-x10). This multiplies the points of each group of tiles, so that a group of 2 tiles with the multiplier at x10 = 500 points.
If there are 8 or more tiles remaining and you cannot add any more, as a last resort you can use the 'Panic' button to move to the next level. Remember that you can press that botton only three times per game.
NumSum has 5 Maps available with different degrees of difficulty:.
The Decimal Number Map (1-9) with targets ranging from 5 to 25.
The Dice Map (1-6) with targets ranging from 5 to 24.
The Roman Numeral Map (1-10) with targets ranging from 5 to 40.
The Card Map (1-13) [AK] with targets ranging from 5 to 50.
The Hexadecimal Numbers Map (1-15) [1-F] with targets ranging from 5 to 60.
In the store you can buy lives as well as open whichever Map you wish.
Once you have purchased a map, it will be available provided that you have lives to play it.
Lives can be used on any map you have opened.
Enjoy this simple but addictive challenge which also trains your brain.
