Features:

1. Using Text/SMS to page parent.

2a. Google Voice (if enable and Wi-Fi is available) for free paging and allow using a phone or tablet without a phone plan. Since 2017 Google Voice is no longer available outside United States. The Wi-Fi is enabled in the "Setup/Admin".

2b. For a tablet without a phone hardware, download the APK file from https://suriono.github.io/apps/nursery-pager/ (the link is also available in the app).
Since there is no notification for updates from your tablet, you still need to install it on your phone. That way you get an update notification on your phone, then go to the tablet and download from the link. See the item "2a" to enable the Wi-Fi.

3. Display incoming SMS from parents. Conveniently tap the message to reply.

4. Check-In and Check-out times are recorded.

5. Food allergies can be included to protect children.

6. Randomly generated code to allow someone else to pick-up a child for safety reason.

7. Automatic Text/SMS parent for check-in and check-out confirmation.

8. Picture of each child (with parent) for safe pick-up at check-out.

9. Convenient and easy access to Text/SMS parent for an urgent message.

10. Sending the log (history) and registered children record in CSV format (spreadsheet) for record keeping. The access is password protected.

11. Backup the log and registered files. The files can be transferred and imported to another phone/tablet. This feature is password protected for admin (or nursery/childcare coordinator) only for security reason.
