-To determine reservoir parameters such as permeability, gas/oil contacts, average pressure in the drainage area, vertical or horizontal permeability, distance to boundary
-To assess changes in previous survey, that is, changes in drainage area (from a drawdown test), changes in datum pressure, changes to damage skin, etc.
