The app is sans ads and free to use for both truck owners and users. Launched in Birmingham, Alabama but expanding quickly, On The Corner let's you know when your favorite local eats are... on the corner.
Features of On The Corner food truck finder include:
- 100% food truck accuracy, no walking three blocks to see an empty corner. If it's on the map, it's there.
- Push notifications for your favorite trucks when they're within walking distance (set the distance from you and times you want to be notified)
- Fast check-in for food truck owners. Push your notification live in less than 10 seconds.
- Auto-checkout for food truck owners. Didn't remember to checkout? Don't worry, no one is going to show up to your house at 2 a.m. looking for tacos.
This app uses your location in the background to send you notifications.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
