Open Shell is a live wallpaper app designed to create security awareness by demonstrating how trust and Android permissions can be exploited even on unrooted devices. The app was initially developed by Shaun Zanin, and later revised by Dylan Kauling, both students working under the supervision of Dr. Qusay H. Mahmoud.
