Open Your Heart, Help the Community, Inc. is a newly formed 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping numerous individuals and families in the Connecticut Shoreline Communities.
Our mission is to help families and individuals who are struggling in everyday life due to unforeseen circumstances. As an all volunteer group, Open Your Heart promotes community service by inviting you to join in making the community a better place for everyone. Through community events and fundraisers, Open Your Heart seeks to raise funds and involve the community to make a difference in the lives of many.
Open Your Heart, Help the Community is based in Northford, CT, and is run by a four person Board of Directors. The Board includes: Susan Monaco, President, Northford, CT; Allison DePaola, Vice President, North Branford, CT; Laura Whaley, Treasurer, Guilford, CT; and Tracy Merola, Secretary, North Branford, CT.
Open Your Heart, Help the Community seeks to help deserving families and individuals in the community. If you believe you or someone you know should be considered for Open Your Heart’s next project, please complete and submit an Application Form. All applications are reviewed by the Board based upon various criteria.
