Nắm bắt được nhu cầu sử dụng các ứng dụng di động của người dùng Việt Nam là rất cao, Trường Đại học Mở Tp. HCM giới thiệu ứng dụng di động đầu tiên của Trường với tên gọi OUVN App.
OUVN App cung cấp nhiều thông tin bổ ích về tuyển sinh đại học 2016 và các thông tin cần thiết, bổ ích cho sinh viên cũng như toàn thể CB-VC và giảng viên, cụ thể như sau:

- Tuyển sinh 2016: Trắc nghiệm chọn nghề, Chọn Trường học theo nghề mong muốn, quy chế tuyển sinh mới nhất từ Bộ GD & ĐT, tổng hợp tin tức tuyển sinh của các Trường đại học, thông tin định hướng nghề nghiệp ...
- Giới thiệu Trường Đại học Mở Tp. HCM: Tất cả các thông tin cần biết về Trường, Website các Khoa, Videos giới thiệu Trường và Khoa, website cổng tuyển sinh ...
- Danh bạ: Với việc cài đặt APP Trường trên điện thoại bạn không cần phải dò tìm email hay số điện thoại liên lạc của bất kỳ nhân viên nào của Trường trong sổ danh bạ nữa, tất cả chỉ cần một thao tác tìm kiếm đơn giản, nhanh chóng ngay cả khi bạn không kết nối internet.
