The assessments in Oxford Inspire is powered by a detailed Competency framework with an emphasis on real-world applications of knowledge and skills. Subscribe to our Natural Language Processing (NLP) tool to improve learners’ speaking skills! Speech Buddy supports all stages of language and literacy by encouraging oral practice and informal assessment of a learner's expressive language skills — from phonological and phonemic awareness to blending and decoding, letter sounds, words, and short sentences! It assesses pronunciation, words read per minute, as well as reading errors.
Speech Buddy is developed in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
