Pai.ACT is a mobile application based on the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), specifically designed for parents of children with special needs. The app features a deep learning-powered chatbot, Pai, that utilizes smartphone voice recognition and artificial intelligence technologies to assess the psychological challenges faced by parents. Pai is capable of providing responses similar to those provided by an ACT counsellor when engaged in conversation with parents. After speaking with Pai, a tailored and convenient five or six-week ACT-based program will be provided for psychological support in the challenges parents face.
