About Palengkero Android App
Palengkero is a productivity shopping mobile app for the Philippine public markets. It aims to assist market goers to search for public markets within a specified province, search for stores, products, and prices within the chosen public market, and to locate the store on the Google map. It also aims to aid public market vendors to increase the visibility of their stores/stalls and to easily update their location, product list and prices for the convenience of the customers.
Palengkero is derived from the Filipino word ‘Palengke’ which refers to the typical Philippine public market. Palengkero, then, refers to the people engage in the public market business. In this app, the term palengkero refers to both the vendors and the customers.
Note: For testing, use “CAR” as Region and “Baguio city” for the province/city option
