This simple, easy to use app accomplishes this process. Simply enter the size of your parent sheet, the size of your finish sheet, choose whether you need gutters/back-trim area, and Get Cuts!
Output provides number of horizontal and vertical cuts, total cuts needed, and amount out per sheet.
