About Party Mode for Onkyo Android App

This app provides a convenient way to switch between activities that use multiple zones on (potentially) multiple receivers. For example, if you have your receiver set up so that the Main Zone is in the living room, and Zone 2 is on the patio, then it can be quite cumbersome to actually remember how to get the audio you want on the patio, when you want it.

With Party Mode for Onkyo, you set up the activities, specifying which zones, and which input should be used on those zones. Then, you simply start the activity, and the app handles getting everything set up correctly - it even has overall and per-zone volume controls so that you can get the volume levels just right.

Pro Tip: By using multiple receivers, and connecting a ChromeCast Audio to each, you can get great whole-home audio for minimal hardware cost.

Now for the bad news. This is a very early release of the app. It has a reasonable chance of working with the following models:
TX-NR515
TX-NR626
TX-NR727
It has a small chance of working with other Onkyo EISCP receivers. If you have any problems, let us know, and we will do what we can to add support for your particular receiver.
