About Payment Notifier Android App

Payment Notifier is an app designed for roommates or really anyone who needs a quick way to split up a bill and notify others.

First, enter in the total bill amount (For electric, water, cable, food). Then choose other people on your contact list who are sharing the bill. Once everyone is selected a SMS (text message) will be sent to everyone chosen, informing them of their share.

Permissions:
This app requires the READ_CONTACTS and SEND_SMS to select your contacts and to send out the notifications. That is all these are for and pretty much the entire purpose of the app.

Version:
This app was built and tested using Android 4.0.3 as the target version. I have done some testing in 2.1 (and dropped the SDK requirement accordingly) but there may still be other bugs.

A NOTE ON SMS:

Clearly carrier and/or other charges apply as this app is just sending out text messages instead of you. More importantly, this app is in BETA, be warned there may be bugs with sending messages in general. (Keep in mind you should be notified on screen anytime a SMS has been sent)
