About PetterDay, Pictogram Schedule Android App
PetterDay is designed for people who need help with understanding the structure and activities of daily life. PetterDay is a diary [agenda]* designed with a simple visual format, which aims to facilitate the use of both parents, professionals and children. PeterDay currently includes the weekly and the daily format.
A diary is a tool that encourages autonomy in people with difficulties in communication and understanding. It is specially designed for people with autism, *cognitive difficulties, language disorders, developmental disorders, learning disabilities and those who need a visual aid to improve their daily life.
In this first version, PetterDay incorporates a set of ARASAAC pictograms, which through a search engine, the main activities and actions of everyday life can be found. In further versions pictograms and photos could be imported from other electronic devices. Furthermore, it will also be possible to sequence or divide the activities into smaller tasks and a system of rewards will be created in order to reinforce the activities planned.
