About Phonehook Android App
Phonehook is a free and open source phone call assistant. This is an Android-port of the Sailfish application with the same name.
Caller lookup
Phonehook will automatically attempt to find the name and other available information for unknown numbers. This information is then displayed in a popup right on the call screen.
Call Blocking
Block unwanted callers, either manually or by using one of the online sources to automatically block incoming spam calls.
People/Business Search
Search for a name and location to find people or businesses. You can then dial them directly or bring up the map for navigation.
Multiple sources for data
Phonehook does not rely on a single directory for lookup functionality, but uses many sources from different countries. Unfortunately this also means that the lookup functions may stop working temporarily when these sources update their code. If you notice that a data source is no longer working, please report it on the GitHub page.
