This spell checker is designed to help people with problems such as dyslexia who struggle with spelling.
It doesn't work like traditional spell checkers. They try to rearrange letters in words to fix the error, but PhonoCheck lists words which sound the same.
For example if the word "cook" was spelt "cuk" then a traditional spell checker would suggest words like "cud" and "cue" because they are only one letter away from "cuk". However, PhonoCheck would search for similar sounding words such as "cook" and "could".
To enable this spell checker simply go to Settings -> Language & Input -> Spell Checker and choose PhonoCheck.
