PicText allows you to convert any picture to plain text. Yes! Just choose a picture from any of your albums in your device or take a brand new picture, and let PicText do the job.
A text or ASCII picture is composed of common characters you use everyday as for example "@#. !". In order to see the picture once is converted, you need a text editor capable of zooming out the text. As you start zooming out, you will see how your characters start to make sense by turning into the picture you converted earlier.
Tips for viewing the ASCII pictures...
1) Once the image is converted, PicText generates a text file which you can send as an attachment in an email.
2) Open the file in a text editor capable of zooming out the text. (You can also set the font-size to a low value)
3) Make sure you are using either Courier New or Lucida Console font. These are Monospace fonts, and they will guarantee that each character will occupy the same amount of horizontal space in your text editor.
4) Make sure you are not using the WORD WRAP option. Otherwise you will not be able to see the picture. You can usually activate/deactivate this feature in most text editors by going to View -> Word Wrap.
5) Zoom out the text and enjoy the result. You will be amazed!
