PinCrypt is designed to store your pin codes in a safe and convenient way.
Your pin codes are encrypted and decrypted by a key derived from a cipher sentence you enter. The cipher sentence could be eg. a passage from your favourite book or poem song. The crypt-key is built before you can encrypt and save new pin codes to PinCrypt and/or when you want to decrypt the pin code you already stored in it. Save your encrypted pin with whatever name you associate with this pin code (eg. VCard, Golden, DoorZ). Your pin codes can be decrypted and viewed whenever you want.

How secure is PinCrypt?
PinCrypt is not storing any information about credit card numbers or something that relates to you pin code. It is only your name tag that is stored together with it. The pin codes are encrypted with a symmetric substitution crypt where the crypt-key is derived from the cipher sentence you have entered. A sentence that is built from series of commonly used words which is the guarantee that your crypt-key will not come up as a input suggestion, eg. when using input methods like Swype on your Android device.
For your security neither the crypt-key and/or your cipher sentence will be stored in in your phone. This means that the only one who knows the correct key to decrypt your stored pin codes is YOU. The program can NOT tell if an entered cipher sentence is right or wrong. Consequently, if somebody would enter a faulty cipher sentence, the decrypted result will also be wrong.
