Pingtro will allow you to create a digital business card, and then share it with any other individual who has also made a Pingtro business card. This will be stored upon your mobile device within the Pingtro wallet, thus eradicating the need for paper business cards entirely; acting as a completely green alternative. When opting to 'tap' with other users and exchange business cards, you have the option to then begin a chat with that person via the 'pings' function or also through the chat icon underneath each users card. You can also create audio or written notes that will attach to that persons business card, in order to create mementos as to perhaps where you met, or what you discussed with that person. Due to apple restrictions on developer access to NFC functionality, iOS users will be able to use the in-application search function to locate colleagues and request a exchange. On Android this exchange can be made using the NFC functionality that exists within the device in addition to the in-application search function.
