About Pipe Tracker Android App
Pipe Tracker determines hot pipes using thermal image processing. Pipe Tracker will run in real-time. Pipe Tracker could also be used offline on previously recorded image files.
Pipe Tracker will skeletonize (thinning) the pipe thermal image input and will transform the image into piecewise-linear pipe segments form. Pipe segments consist of smaller lines and connection nodes.
Pipe Tracker will plot pipe segments onto visual image. (An experienced human observer could follow the pipes via hotter stripes but could not refine the view or plot exactly.)
Pipe Tracker functionality will be useful for planning, installation and maintenance in the buildings or any similar platform. Pipe Tracker features could also be adapted to track electrical wire connections in future.
