Planmeca SmartGUI is an application with which the Planmeca Compact i Touch or Planmeca Sovereign Classic user interface can be extended to the tablet or smart phone. The SmartGUI operates similarly to the user interface and they have identical functions.

- Remote access to Planmeca Compact i Touch or Planmeca Sovereign Classic dental units

System requirements:
Android 4.4.4. (Android 5.x will be supported in the next dental unit software)
Bluetooth 4.0 dongle in the dental care unit.
New capacitive touch screen in the dental unit.
Sovereign Classic SW V.1.4.0 or newer.
Compact i SW V.7.5.0 or newer.

Intended use:
The Planmeca SmartGUI application is intended for extending the user interface to the tablet / smart phone. The tablet can be mounted on Planmeca Sovereign Classic instrument console or on the assistant side of Planmeca Sovereign Classic and Planmeca Compact i Touch. With the SmartGUI, the assistant gains access to all user interface functions, including the programmable functions. Currently the Planmeca SmartGUI is not intended for Clinical use.
