Set up teams, join games, find players to complete your quorum, book a ground, sign up for events, chat with your team and keep up with sports news all in one slick package. This is the all-new way to ‘play sports’!



Getting started on PlaySports:



TEAM

Once you have joined the PlaySports community, you can form a team of your own with friends across a range of sports. Start a game at any location, simply by dropping a pin on MapView. The venue can even be your building compound! If your team falls short of players, enable ‘Scout Mode’ to find new players to complete your required quorum. Apart from connecting with like-minded people who share a common love for the sport that you play, you will never have to cancel another game because you are short of participants! Within this section, you can also exchange updates and coordinate the game seamlessly with your team, because the PlaySports app comes enabled with live chat functionality. From discussing the best goals after a game of football or planning your next cricket match, all your communication is in-app, so you don’t have to toggle between apps to coordinate or track anything.



QUICKPLAY

Here you will be able to view the games currently being played or scheduled in your vicinity, via MapView. You needn’t be part of an existing team to sign up for a game. Simply choose your preferred game and join it instantly. You could also use the filter function to select your favoured location and define your available time slots, to receive notifications on new games popping up within those parameters. You can even book a ground through the app!



EVENTS

The PlaySports app will also list sport and fitness related ‘Events’ taking place in Mumbai. You can register to participate or compete in these events, as an individual or a team. Events may range from interschool competitions to local matches or even corporate events, across a spectrum of sports. If you are hosting an event, contact us to get listed.



DUGOUT

Here you will find sports news and updated information about your favourite teams and sportsmen. Stay tuned for score updates, without having to search or switch apps.



FRIENDS

The ‘Friends’ feature allows you to add friends and invite other players to join teams.
