1.10.0: Use websockets for updates from server
An APRS map-browser/tracking application for smartphones and tablets. Based on Polaric Server which is used by radio amateurs (HAM-radio operators) and voluntary search and rescue services in Norway. Based on aprs.no (which is provided by the norwegian Radio Relay League). Based on the free map service (by the Norwegian, Danish an Swedish mapping authorities), on OpenStreetMap and on free software.
Be careful if using this while driving a car. The app is not suitable for operating while driving.
By default, it shows APRS positions for HAM radio operators in the Nordic countries. We may consider extending the area and translating to more languages, if there is interest. Contributtions and suggestions are welcome. The Polaric Server is free software and code is on GitHub.
