About Power Factor Corrector Android App
This app computes the reactive power requirements for power factor correction or improvement. A user enters the following required fields: system voltage (kV), load (kW), existing power factor and the desired power factor. The calculation returns the reactive power (in kVARs) - i.e., compensation required from a shunt capacitor bank, current (before and after correction) and percentage changes in current and feeder losses after compensation.
