Power Transmission line spans miles together just to evacuate power from source to the consumption point. These lines are subjected to losses which limit the capability to evacuate power. This losses can be avoided to certain extent by choosing the Voltage of power evacuation.
An effort is made in this app to get the economical voltage suitable for evacuating power(MW) over certain distance(KM).
The equations utilized is popularly used as an empirical equations. The same equations are interchanged to find two parameters i.e. Line Length and Power evacuation possibility, both having constraints placed.
This app gives you an back of the envelope calculation on economic voltage and other derivative.
