Drivers can Receive, Schedule, and Manager Riders for NEMT Services
This app provides NEMT drivers with rider opportunities. Praxis Transport Solutions (PTS) is a leading provider of Logistics Transportation Services for moving people and freight locally or around the world. This mobile app is for drivers that provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services. Drivers use the app to accept or reject ride requests sent to them by dispatchers using our cloud-based portal. The driver taps the AVAILABLE button to let dispatchers know they are available for work, or taps UNAVAILABLE if they are on break or off duty. Rides can be queued so drivers can build a full-day ride card, working the hours that best fit their schedule.
When a ride request is displayed, the app provides a visual an audible tone to alert the driver. Ride information includes pick-up and destination times and locations, travel distance, and estimated trip time.
Receive Ride Opportunities even when you are unavailable!
The app has two primary modes of operation: 1) Available and 2) Unavailable. While Available, drivers receive ride opportunities to which they can immediately accept or decline. When Unavailable, Dispatch can submit ride opportunities the are queued in the app. When drivers log-in to the app, they can see the ride opportunities and then accept or decline them. Note, when multiple drivers are presented for the same ride, the ride goes to the first driver that accepts leading to all other posts of that ride being automatically removed.
Driver Assist Features
Drivers are presented with all rider demographics and transit information. This includes pick-up and destination locations and time, best route as well as driver’s current location to pick-up. Upon picking-up their rider, they tap the Pick-Up icon which informs dispatch and then presents driving directions to the destination. Upon dropping off the rider, the driver taps Delivered icon to notify dispatch. Route map and detailed turn-by-turn directions are also provided.
eLogs for Compliance & Efficiency
An electronic log (eLog) is a permanent record of your rider and transit demographics. This information is valuable for compliance, invoicing, marketing, optimal route planning, vehicle maintenance, and maximizing overall efficiency and profits. Automatically keeps track of driving time and mileage, time of day, day of week.
One-touch Emergency Alert
This feature provides a one-touch icon to launch an emergency response plan that includes sending high-priority messages for help. The message includes the driver’s name, GPS location, and encoded information about your mobile device that could be used by police or first responders to provide help. Always dial 9-1-1 in the United States first in the event of an emergency. This app is not a replacement for dialing 9-1-1 or other number in an emergency or when you think you or your rider are in harm’ s way. Use every means possible to seek help or attention.
Group Messaging
Send dispatchers, fellow drivers, riders and any other group of people individual or group messages with a simple one-touch icon. Instantly send rich-text emails and text messages within seconds and receive their replies and haven them automatically organized. Using your cell phone, mobile device, or computer as your personal “Command & Control” console, you are in control of who, how, when and where people communicate with you.
