How accurate is your mobile phone GPS? Increase its precision by repeated location. 'Precise GPS' application activates repeatedly GPS sensor for averaging of geographical coordinations. More precise estimation of position is useful for geocaching, location or re-location of permanent plots, important places, hardly visible geodetic points etc. The best preciseness was found 1-2 m after 1-6 hours of continual measurement. Results depend on actual satellite constellation and uality of the GPS sensor. Use at least 30-50 independent measurements for better averaging of GPS coords.
