Dono da rede de concessionárias Chevrolet Proeste, José Antonio Foganholi usou seu carro Corcel laranja, ano 1971, como o capital inicial para fundar a empresa que hoje forma o Grupo Pardal.

Naquela época, o empresário percebeu uma grande oportunidade de negócios na compra, troca e venda de automóveis. E nasceu, assim, em 1989, a Credcar Multimarcas, conhecida como Estacionamento Pardal.

Pouco depois, em 1993, ele daria um grande passo com a compra da concessionária Proeste de Piraju (SP). Com trabalho e determinação, os negócios cresceram, e, em 1995, veio a compra da Credcar Multimarcas, em Ourinhos (SP) . No ano de 1997 foi a vez da Divelpa, de Lençóis Paulista (SP), entrar para o grupo, seguida, em 1998, pelo Consórcio Nacional Proeste Divelpa.

Hoje, a rede Proeste tem lojas em importantes cidades do interior paulista: Adamantina, Avaré, Botucatu, Dracena, Lençóis Paulista, Piraju, São Manuel e Tupã.
