Proxyme ( proc-zahym ) is a development support tool, providing a method to gain privileged access without having to run a permanently \'rooted\' phone.
Proxyme is supported in (stock) firmware images, which have it included by default. This means that if your phone includes Proxyme by default or when it has been factory reset, then it should work properly. Do not install from the Google Play Store on an unsupported phone's firmware; it will not work.
An 'su binary' switch allows you to make the su binary available. In addition, an 'Auto Remove' switch controls the su binary at the time of booting the phone.
There is support for a built-in SSH server to support remote sessions during development
The SSH server supports user definable login accounts (limited only by storage space), secured by password, which can each be configured with properties including user home directory, shell and UID/GID pairs to control access to resources.
This version of Proxyme Android App comes with one universal variant which will work on all the Android devices.
