PsycEssentials is a comprehensive pocket resource for busy psychotherapists. It provides quick and easy access to the key information you need when working with a client. If you are looking for an appropriate assessment tool, state-by-state referral resources, or information on a psychotropic drug, you will find it here. Beyond checklists and links, the app provides a wealth of guidance on working with clients.
It is available in two forms: a free but limited trial version and a full paid version. The free version of the app allows you to preview the Contents, Introduction, Chapter 1, and the About page and offers limited functionality of the Search, Notes, and Favorites features. The paid app grants you full access to content across 18 chapters and all features.
Currently, this app is only available on Android smartphones using OS 1.6 to OS 2.3.3.
