About Public Art Omaha Android App
The Public Art Omaha Mobile Application allows you to learn more about Omaha's Public Art while you are on the go. Have you ever been curious if there is art to see around you? Now you can find out with a few taps. Or have you wondered where exactly a piece of art is? This app helps you learn more about art in Omaha.
Developed by students at the College of IS&T at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in partnership with eleven19. Commissioned by Omaha By Design and the Omaha Public Art Commission.
Requires a GPS signal and a mobile data connection for best results. This app was designed for use in Omaha, NE. Results may be limited outside of the Greater Omaha area.

Description of Permissions accessed:
1) Hardware Controls
-Take pictures: used by the Identify Art feature.
2) Your Location
-Fine GPS location: used throughout the app to determine distances between you and art pieces.
3) Network Communication
-Full Internet access: used to download Google Map images and to connect to the Public Art Omaha database.
-View network state: used to alert you if you are disconnected from data at any time.
4) Storage
-Modify/delete SD card contents: used if you decide to save an art piece's photo. It also temporarily saves Identify Art photos.
5) System Tools
-Set wallpaper: used if you decide to set your wallpaper as an art piece's photo.
