This app is for purposes of memorization and review, and not for deep comprehension or intonation of the Quran.

This application uses the rapid serial visual presentation technique to display the Quran text in a continuous stream of words. The words appear at the same fixed position in order to reduce eye movement during reading. This enables speed reading of the Quran, only for purposes of memorization and review, and not for deep comprehension or intonation.

Speed reading is based on visual perception and elimination of subvocalization during reading. The words should be recognized using the eyes only, without vocal pronunciation or lip reading.

Reducing eye movement also helps in improving the reading speed. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain eye focus on the red character inside each word while reading.

The App offers reading speeds between 25 and 500 words per minute, which allows the users to choose the speed they are comfortable with, according to their speed reading skills.

يستخدم هذا البرنامج طريقة العرض المرئيّ التّسلسليّ السّريع لنصّ القرآن الكريم، حيث يتمّ عرض الكلمات بوضعيّةٍ ثابتةٍ للحدّ من الإجهاد المكانيّ لأعين القرّاء. توفّر هذه الطّريقة للمستخدم إمكانيّة قراءة القرآن الكريم قراءةً سريعةً بهدف الحفظ و المراجعة، لا لغرض التّدبّر أو التّجويد.

تعتمد أساسيّات القراءة السّريعة على القراءة بالعين دون التّركيز على كلّ حرفٍ، أي دون التّلفّظ بالكلمات، سواءً بظهور صوتٍ أو بمجرّد تحريك الشّفاه. يدعم ذلك التّقليل من حركات العينين أثناء القراءة. لذلك يُنصح بالتركيز على الحرف الأحمر الموجود في كلّ كلمةٍ خلال العرض في هذا البرنامج.

يتيح البرنامج للمستخدم إمكانيّة إختيار سرعة العرض بين ٢٥ و ٥٠٠ كلمة في الدّقيقة بما يتناسب مع مهارته في القراءة السّريعة.
