About Rajkot Smart City Hackathon 2017 Android App

In order to work towards our PM’s vision, Rajkot Municipal Corporation, propose the Rajkot Smart City Hackathon 2017, a unique initiative to identify new and disruptive digital technology innovations for solving the challenges faced by our city. This initiative aims to institutionalise a model for harnessing the creativity and technical expertise of thousands of students for direct benefit of our city.

Rajkot Smart City Hackathon app is designed and built to help the coders and students, who is interested in taking part into coding challenge or hackathon. This mobile application will bridge the gap between the information available with the organising partners and the participants.
 
To fulfil this digital dream, Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology has developed an app for participants registration. With the help of this app participants will be able to view their registration status, team members details, proposal status (uploaded / not uploaded), latest news and notifications for the upcoming mega event.

Some of the key features of the app are:
» Team Registration for Rajkot Smart City Hackathon 2017 -  Here team registration will be done by team leader, as decided by the college/institute/organization. Team leader has to enter following information while registering: Team Name, Team Organization (from where you are participating), Mobile number of team leader, Email address of Team leader. All the mails and sms notification for the upcoming event will be sent to this email id.
 
» View Team/Members Profile - Once registered, team members will be able to view team profile information like Mobile Number, Email, Name of College/Institute/Organization.
 
» View Team Status - Here the app will show status whether participants have successfully submitted all the required documents or not. It will show status as: Team registration successful/unsuccessful
- It also shows whether all the team members have been added or not. 

 
» Pending to upload proposal - The app here shows status of the proposal submitted by the team like whether the proposal has been uploaded or not.
 
» View Uploaded Proposal - Once proposal is uploaded, each team members will be able to view the proposal uploaded.
 
» Get notifications about schedule and news - Participants will able to view recent news related to hackathon.  

» View Detail Schedule - Details scheduled for the upcoming Rajkot Smart City Hackathon 2017 can be viewed by all the participants.
