About Rally Calculator Android App

This is a full featured Rally Calculator to assist the Navigator in Time-Speed-Distance Rallies in performing the timekeeping calculations.
Time keeping instructions include:
+ Average Speed sections ( CAST = "Change Average Speed To")
+ Transit sections with a fixed elapsed time
+ Pause or Gain in fractional minutes

A full walk-through is provided on the developer website, to demonstrate the intuitive interface. A free trial version is also available separately on the Play Store.

The App also manages an odometer correction factor allowing continuous speed management using an odometer.
Lateness is displayed in seconds.

The App is designed for an Android phone, since phones tend to be car-friendly, although it runs fine on a tablet.
The app uses device time, which should be synchronized to rally time, and allows instructions to be pre-loaded. When the driver executes the instruction, a button push will perform all the calculations and display how early or late you are in seconds.
The App does not incorporate an odometer function or use GPS. This App is suitable for running with either a stock odometer or our GPS-based Rally Odometer, available in Play Store, on a 2nd phone. Since it requires the navigator to add odometer input, this App allows to team to run in the "Stock Odometer" class, rather than "Equipped" or "Computer".
The app has been used by the developer's 15 year old daughter, a novice rally navigator, with great success. It greatly simplifies the tedium of timekeeping, allowing very frequent time checking or more time to enjoy the journey.
