About Rally Stopwatch Android App
Rally Stopwatch is an App that lets you measure split-times on rally stages and publish them on the web.
It is based on the concept that every car starts with a specific interval or delay on a rally stage. You can measure split-times by timing the cars on a specific and fix point on the stage. If the delay is the same as at the start, the cars were equally fast.
The app lets you manually add or import stages from a certain rally (as a .CSV file). This allows you to pick the stage you're on and the stage you'll go to next. Based on the itinerary of the stages the App informs you how long it will take before the current stage you're on will start and how much time there is left before the next stage you want to attend will start.
The app also lets you manually add or import drivers (as a .CSV file). This allows you the assign a recorded time to a certain driver.
You are in control of the fixed delay between cars, the total delay and the delay of a recorded time. This means that when a car is missing due to a retirement you can adapt times and delays so the correct split-time is displayed.
Last but not least the App allows you to send splits and status-updates over Twitter or other Apps installed on your device.
