An application that receives data from the airborne system in a model R/C plane. The airborne system consists typically of:
1) One or two (dual engine setups) ASSI units. Measures engine (turbine) data, airspeed and G force. Interfaces to your RC receiver (Futaba SBUS or SBUS2, JR XBus or Spektrum SRXL (X-Plus))
2) CAN-GPS module. CAN-GPS delivers GPS positions and height (Altimeter) information 4 times pr second
3) CAN-RF module (incl radio modem).
These 3 modules are connected together using a 4 wire cable (positive, ground and 2 CAN Bus wires).
Data from the airborne system is sent to the groundstation via either 433 MHz (Europe etc) or 915 MHz (US etc). The Android device receives these data thru a small radio modem that is connected to the USB port of the Android device.
