We want you to get the full telematics experience whilst only using your smartphone!

Munich RE’s RE_drive app records and evaluates your driving habits and provides you with feedback about your driving behaviour to support you in continuously improving your driving style and driving more safely.

The RE_drive app requires background location access since it automatically recognizes the beginning and end of a user journey. To do this the app detects when you are moving and only then does it begin collecting GPS data.

Once a journey is complete, it is scored along five key areas: speed, smooth driving, distraction, time of day and fatigue. Respective scores and detailed descriptions can be viewed in the app once the journey has ended.

The RE_drive app uses GPS in the background. This can lead to reduced runtime of your battery.
