v1.6 - I didn't like the splash screen, so I updated it to have a small upgrade button on the main screen instead
v1.7 - updated the app so that the sounds now vary with the ring volume of the phone (no more loud quacks!!). Also shortened the time it takes to display the 'back' button when you hit the last flash card in the set.
v1.8 - improved icon
I always welcome feedback, good or bad, and suggestions are much appreciated!
Keep an eye out for FlashPhonics - coming soon!
100 British English flash cards for use in teaching kids to read. These are the 'high-frequency words' as defined in the National Curriculum, a framework for education in the UK. If you are not in the UK, these still may be useful to you, but please don't complain if the spellings are slightly different to those used in your locality!
If you would like me to do a version of this app for your language/dialect, please let me know and it should be quite easy to convert :o)
The idea is that if you have your phone, you have your flashcards, which means that you can use a 'little and often' approach with your kids, wherever you are with them!
I welcome feedback, both good and bad, but please bear in mind that it is free! :o)
