About reHue Colorblindness Player Android App

reHuePlayer is a video player app for Android that lets you adjust the colors in videos to make it easier for colorblind people to tell them apart. reHuePlayer features:
- Play videos in a wide range of formats (FFmpeg based player)
- Daltonization (color adjustment) for 3 types of colorblindness.
- Brightness, contrast and color saturation settings.
- Adjust the brightness of reds, greens and blues independently to highlight any colors you find hard to distinguish.
- Support for displaying embedded subtitles, as well as external subtitle files (e.g. *.srt, *.ass etc)
- Display 2 subtitle streams at once (handy for learning languages)
- Scene jump menu allows you to jump to any scene in a large movie file by tapping on a thumbnail image
- Automatically detect and remove any letterboxing (black bands at the edge of the screen) encoded into a video file, for optimal fitting or stretching to fill your screen
- Software volume boost for exceptionally quiet videos
- Optionally use hardware-accelerated video decoding if supported by your Android device (some codecs only)
- Browse for videos on your device using a simple video list, or explore your file system to open videos in formats not picked up by the Android media scanner

NOTE: Hardware accelerated decoding is turned off by default for maximum device compatibility. To enable it, just open the options and check "Use Hardware Decoding" (it's the first option in the list). Turning on hardware decoding may cause problems with some videos not playing properly on some devices so if you experience any issues with it just turn it back off.
