How conducting Poker Planning evolved for us over time

Pre-2020
All team members would assemble in room, discuss story, and after enough clarity, each team member will secretly pick one Poker card that represents his/her estimates, keep face down. When all members ready, on count 3 all cards are turned face up. High and low estimated members justify reason. Team may play one or more rounds to come to consensus on final estimate. Pretty easy.

In-2020
Almost everyone is working remotely and attending Scrum Planning meetings over remote meetings.

1) To start with, team members used hand fingers for estimates, but are limited to 10 (12 max) and possibility of cheating/changing votes.

2) Then, members either bought poker deck or printed or hand written. Even some used Apps to pick and show card. But with all these, you need to carefully see votes in everyone's window in meeting and analyze stats.

But, we need even simple-efficient way of voting and presenting team stats.
And this App exactly does that along with solving previous problems.

Post-2020
We implemented this simple intuitive App:
* Lets you play Planning Poker via virtual room.
* Two options to participate:
* 1) Create New Room as Host:
** Host to choose from predefined Poker decks for current session.
** Host to Allow or Deny permission to enter room so that only recognized team members can participate.
* 2) Join Existing as Participant:
** Get Room Id from Host and enter room
** If approved by Host can participate in Poker Planning
* Discuss Story to estimate and start estimating when all members are ready.
* Select your Poker Card and wait for others to do the same.
* When all votes are available, shows team's voting statistics.
* Anytime during or after discussion if you change your mind, 'Revote' to reflect it.
