About Residus Android App
Separating waste products is our responsibility. Doing it properly is really very easy. With this application, you can easily find out where you must dispose of each type of waste. If you recycle it correctly, we’ll optimise the efficiency of the recycling process and take better care of the environment. Appropriate waste management saves money for you and your municipality.
Selective collection means collecting different types of municipal waste separately for its recycling. Selective collection and recycling lead to savings of scarce resources and energy required to manufacture products.
The basic aspect of selective collection is the selection made by individuals and businesses for recyclable products that is managed subsequently by the waste management administration.
This application forms part of the “Rubbish... where should you go?” selective collection campaign carried out by the Agència de Residus de Catalunya to raise awareness of the need for people to dispose of their household waste properly.
