About Roadeo - share the potholes Android App
Record and share road quality! Draw local authorities attention via social media!
How to use:
- open Roadeo application
- press "Start recording" button
- Roadeo will prompt you to turn on GPS (if isn't already)
- place your device in a stable place inside your car. A cup holder is usually ideal for this purpose. The phone shouldn't move during driving as improper readings will be excluded.
- once you reached your destination press "Finish and save", and it's ready!
- you can go to "Browse and share" list and publish your record any time you want!
How does it work:
- Road quality measurement is based on filtered accelerometer and gyro readings. Road bumps, cracks etc. cause recognizable patterns that are detected.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
This is an early version, and some issues might occur. Every automatic/ email feedback is very welcome!
Drive safely! You don't need to pay attention to the device while driving.
