RUBY
Risk Understanding By Yourself (RUBY) allows you to assess your risk for diabetes and its complications, so as to attain early intervention and prevent deterioration.
Risk scores
Risk score is a value ranging from 0 – 30 in female and 0 – 28 in male. If your risk score is 16 or above, it is advised that you visit your family doctor where you may need to undergo a more comprehensive test such as the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) or diabetes risk assessment.
Risk score will change in time when there is a change in your health status or lifestyle. We recommend you to repeat the RUBY test every 6 months. RUBY risk score is calculated based on previously published work.

The assessment for diabetes risk factors provided by this software is for reference only and should not be construed as a medical diagnosis. Users are encouraged to visit their family doctor for further advice.
Our risk assessment scoring system has been validated with southern Chinese only. If you are a descendant from another region, please use the test as a reference and ask your family doctor for further advice.
