About Salah Times Android App

An app which lists out all 5 salah start times and ensures you are not disturbed by any

incoming call while performing salah. Moreover it also sends a message to the caller.

How it works:

1. The app lists out five salah start times with a separate column for Jammat/Congregation

time.

2. The second column is editable which you can set as per your Mosque timings or your

preferred time provided that its a valid time for that salah.

3. The app has a unique feature called DO NOT DISTURB (DND) mode, which is

controlled from settings screen.

4. DND mode performs following actions:

a) sets your phone profile to SILENT, 5 minutes before the jammat/congregation time of a

respective salah.

b) sets your phone profile back to its original state 5 minutes after jammat/congregation

time of a respective salah.

c) disconnects any incoming call which comes during DND mode.

d) sends a single customised message to the caller that you are busy with your salah for

that DND session.

==> To be noted this is a network provided message SMS, which will cost you as per your

provider tariff.

e) Calls which were disconnected in DND mode can be seen in call log screen.

5. The DND mode has 2 variants:

a) Schedule :This variant depends on the jammat/congregation times of all 5

salah.Controlled from settings screen.

b) Add-hoc : This variant is used when you want to do your salah at office/outside etc. It is 

available on main screen of the app. Useful specially if you are doing infaradi(individual)

prayers

7. Location service - which can be used to find your exact location.

8. Namaz start time is calculated using method of "World Muslim League". This can be

controlled from settings as per your location.
